The next character to answer my completely random list of questions that have nothing to do with the book is Ruben.

What is your favourite time of the day?

What time is it now? Now is my favourite time.

What sound do you love?

Laughter.

What is something you’ve always wanted to try but have been too scared to?

Singing in public.

What is your favourite thing you’ve watched on Netflix?

This sci-fi series called Ascension. Made me think. There doesn’t seem to be another season, though.

Shark diving, bungee jumping, or sky diving?

Shark diving, I’ve already done a bungee jump and there is something about throwing myself out of a plane which just sounds wrong.

Where would your dream holiday be?

On a beach with lots of sun and sand.

If you were a super hero or super villain, what powers would you have?

Mind reading.

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten?

I’m not too adventurous with the taste buds. Caviar, probably.

Are you a dog person or a cat person?

A dog person. They are far better company.

What is a song you know by heart?

The entire soundtrack to The Phantom of the Opera. Don’t ask.

Review of Forever Blue – Readers’ Favorite

readers favorite review image

I recently submitted Forever Blue to the website Readers’ Favorite and was thrilled to receive a 5 star rating. Here’s what they had to say . . .

In Forever Blue, author Abby Wilder masterfully weaves a delightful tale of mystery that deals with vulnerabilities and eventualities. And this makes her main characters – Lennon, Cara, Ruben and Judah – vivid, colorful and sympathetic so that we tend to hold our breaths as they are driven to their inevitable fates. Forever Blue is a delicately surprising piece of literary work. It is a gorgeous mixture of mystery and romance that is both melancholic and elusive. In the end, it feels like we are presented with a picture of something that may or may not exist. And this makes the novel an unforgettable experience. Abby Wilder is definitely an author to watch out for!

Today was the day I finally pushed that little ‘publish’ button to upload the final version to Kindle. Not long now until the 17th!

Advanced Readers of Forever Blue – what did you think?

Four images.jpg

On the 31st of May the giveaway of advanced reader’s copies of Forever Blue ended. It wasn’t a long giveaway but there were still around 100 copies claimed. Thank you to everyone who took an interest.

If you were one of the people who got a free copy, I hope you’re enjoying it! I love to hear what you thought. Please feel free to contact me by leaving a comment, or emailing on abby.wilder@outlook.com.

And if the urge strikes, I’d really love a review on Goodreads. It doesn’t need to be much, just a sentence or two letting people know what you thought.

As an indie author, it is often hard to get the word out about your book. The reach and the exposure of traditionally published books just isn’t available, (unless you have large sums of money lying around) so any review, even by word of mouth, is greatly appreciated.

If you missed out on the giveaway, or, if you’d like to support Forever Blue by pre-ordering a copy, please follow this link to the Kindle Store.

And remember, the first book in my Behind Glass Series is only 99c on Kindle. Check it out here.

I hope this post finds you well.

Roll on June 17th!
