Well 2015 is officially underway and I thought I better type up a quick post to say Happy New Year. I’ve spent most of the time between Christmas and now camping either in the Catlins or out at Monkey Island with family and friends. We’ve toasted s’mores over the campfire, had fireworks and bonfires on the beach, rode motorcycles, built sandcastles, swam in the ocean, (Joss got stung by a jellyfish,) trekked through the bush and ate like kings. Part of me wishes it could go on forever but I only have one week left before the numbers and figures of work come calling . . .

All too soon the kids will be back at school and life will return to normal. Once that happens, I will get back into writing. But for now I will sit back, enjoy the sunshine and take in the view.
